Configure Amazon Fire TV DNS Connection


Before you start, you need to find your router LAN IP address.
You will need this IP address as a gateway address during configuration.

1. 1.Start the Fire TV and access Settings
2. 2.Access Network
3. 3. You should see the WiFi Network name in the list.
If your Fire TV is already connected to a WiFi network then you must forget the network settings.
Select the WiFi network name and follow the indications on the screen in order to forget the network. (Press the three bar button, then press the center button)
4. 4. When your fire TV is no longer connected to the WiFi
Select your WiFi network name and press the center button (Select button on the remote)
5. 5. Just enter your WiFi password and then select the advanced option.
Press the center remote button (Select) in order to access the Advanced WiFi settings.
6. 6. After you press the Advanced option you will need to fill out the following information page by page:

Case 1 - If your router's IP address is: 192.168.1.1
IP: 192.168.1.89
Gateway address: 192.168.1.1
Network Prefix length: 24
DNS 1: 89.32.151.163
DNS 1: 89.32.148.84

Case 2 - If your router's IP address is: 192.168.0.1
IP: 192.168.0.89
Gateway address: 192.168.0.1
Network Prefix length: 24
DNS 1: 89.32.151.163
DNS 1: 89.32.148.84
7. 7. Select Connect and press the center remote button to connect.
8. 8. Use your computer or tablet to open the link below and authenticate your home network. https://www.tellypass.com/update
